Many animals suffered during flood in Ireland. Suzanne Gibbons from Animal Haven Animal Rescue posted an emergency message telling of donkey that needed to be rescued. He was stranded in deep waters and woman asked for a boat and helpmates to help her save the animal.
He did not move as he did not know where to go. Distressed animals just saw water around so when people came and started saving him, he was full of joy and hope. They named the donkey Mike in honor of his rescuer.
The donkey could not contain his joy and broke out in a large smile after he was rescued from deep flood waters.
