Alligators Have Fascinating Way To Survive In Freezing Weather


In the U.S. state of North Carolina along with the water in the pond froze and alligators. Shallotte River Swamp Park in your account in Facebook has published photos, which show the ice frozen in toothy jaws.

While living reptiles, as they have the ability to regulate their body temperature, adapting to environmental conditions. According to experts, alligators instinctively know when the pond’s frozen. They stick out from under the water nostrils and freeze, to ice covered their mouths, and then in this “limbo” state waiting for the thaw.
