Golden years become miserable for some dogs who are rejected by the families. But this does not refer to about two-dozen dogs that spend time at House with a Heart Senior Pet Sanctuary. This is a very challenging work therefore a team of experienced volunteers is necessary. They are amazing people who take care about the dogs. Luckily, they are able to provide everything necessary for the them. They wash, clean, feed and care for senior dogs. Some of them require rather costly medical help. Here the dog is not rejected even when its treatment cost much money for a dog retirement home.
