Former soldiers are often traumatized by the horrors of war, can find comfort in the company of a service dog after returning home. An owner of a Labrador Pax took the dog to a women’s prison, where one of the companions taught him. After his trainer appeared in prison, Pax began to belong to a soldier. In 2008, Sergeant William Campbell, a veteran who fought in the war in Iraq, brought his service dog Pax in the women’s prison to meet her beloved ex-coach Laurie Kellogg. A dog had never forgot his trainer. Kellogg was a prisoner in a correctional facility Bedford hills and was convicted of murder. When Pax has reunited with his former owner, he was mad with joy.
