This poor dog was abandoned by his owner and was dying on the street. The volunteers took several hours to convince the pit bull to trust them. And only after that, they were able to take the dog to the shelter. The history of the breed is truly unique. Originates from 1888.
American Bull Terrier obtained by crossing the bulldog and Terrier. Began with the bulldogs. In Old England the bulldog was considered a dog for baiting animals. Later baiting was banned. People began to use bulldogs for dog fighting. However, later interest in fighting dogs just disappeared.
The bulldogs, despite the anger and aggression towards rivals, proved unwieldy. I could not breed to jump and dodge the nimble rivals. The fighting is obviously considered well-known.
