As a dog mom, I like to believe that my pets are absolutely perfect. If you ask me about my dogs (or even if you don’t) I’m likely to tell you story after story about how wonderful they are and why I love them. Once I get started with the tales of their perfection and angelic ways, I’m unlikely to stop. I can only hope that my companions are in a comfortable chair and have some caffeine, because I could go on all night!
The truth is, however, that I am reluctant to admit that my dogs are not as perfect as I think they are. They are wonderful companions and are kind, playful, and the best friends a girl could have, but they aren’t immune to getting into a bit of trouble.
