He’s only 10, but every day he has an important mission. After school he helps a blind deer cross the road in search of food. The boy has found a unique animal. They have established a very warm relationship.
Without his help the deer can’t handle it. Reindeer are uniquely adapted to the dark Arctic winter. Christmas and New Year reindeer don’t have to complain about the lack of airtime dedicated to them.
However, apart from their seasonal role of draft animal to the sleigh of Santa Claus, depicted on postcards and sung in Christmas carols, reindeer – an iconic inhabitants of the far North – are perfectly adapted to extreme living conditions.
