Unlike those sad stories about animals who finish their lives due to abuse and neglect, this one has a happy ending. This is the story of a pit bull named Gideon. He was living alone in an empty lot for some time. His condition was terrible and it was obvious he needed someone to rescue him and offer the appropriate medical assistance. It looked like the dog was on the brink of death and struggling to survive.
Fortunately for Gideon, someone noticed him and called the Bill Foundation. When presented with information about the awful life he had, the staff didn’t hesitate to help. However, being extremely scared, the dog didn’t let anyone go near him. He was so afraid that even starving, he was intimidated to go near people.
