The most rewarding part about rescuing a dog – other than watching them head off to their new furever homes – is witnessing the remarkable transformation that happens when downtrodden rescue dogs realise they have been saved.
There is a shift in every aspect of their behaviour and posture, as if their long-lost hope for a brighter future has miraculously returned.
