Giving one’s dogs up for adoption is often seen as something negative, but the issue shouldn’t be oversimplified without knowing all the facts first. For people who really have no choice but to surrender their dogs, putting them up for adoption is heartbreaking.
These senior dogs are named Winnie, Lucy, and Mitzy. The three Terrier sisters are aged 11, 10 and 9 and have been together their entire life. Unfortunately, deep within the later stages of their lives, they were surrendered to the RSPCA in Martlesham, England, where they hope to find a new home. Their former owners are an elderly couple that have found it increasingly difficult to care for their beloved pups. To be fair to their dogs, they knew the only option was to find them a new home that is physically capable of taking care of the girls.
