Is there anything better or more rewarding than getting a warm welcome home from a beloved family pet? Arthritis may have prevented her from jumping up to lick her face or racing around in joyous abandon, but an elderly Golden Retriever named Buddy all but melted into a puddle when she finally saw her owner.
Buddy belongs to 21-year-old Army Pvt. Hannah Foraker, who left her home in Cleveland for three months of basic combat training.
