Americans are proud of many things that are uniquely American. When a Minnesota Army veteran discovered one of the symbols of American pride hanging from a tree, he was very determined to remove it from there. Jason Galvin was going to fish when he saw an eagle dangling from a tree beside the road. The man immediately called the police, and other services that could help to solve this problem such as Fire Department, and Department of Natural Resources to rescue the bird. However, he received the same answer from all these services. The problem was not within their jurisdiction. The man had nothing to do but to take matters into his own hands.
Jason Galvin served in Afghanistan twice so he used his military experience to shoot a bit of rope and try to save the bird. After about 150 shots, he managed to shoot off the branch. Watch the full story:
